Annual Awards: Friend of SAM

The eligibility requirements for this award include the following:

  • Anyone who is not a snowmobiler, that has been supportive of SAM and recognizes the value of snowmobiling, helping us to make the sport even more enjoyable for the future, should be nominated. This could be a state employee or a landowner, anyone who has helped make snowmobiling better for your club and our Association.
  • Individuals can make these nominations.
  • All nominations should include the nominee’s full name, address, a description of the nominee and their contributions to snowmobiling, as well as an explanation as to why these contributions are particularly noteworthy.

You are not limited to these eligibility requirements or the space provided for filling out your nominations. Photos and Press clippings may be sent to us as well. (materials cannot be returned)

Hand written nominations can be mailed to The Snowmobile Association of Massachusetts, P.O. Box 443, Greenfield, MA 01302.

All forms must be submitted to the SAM office by March 1.

  • Does your nominee promote club membership?
  • Describe any special projects your nominee has been involved with or may be working on.

    Although not mandatory, photos of the nominee are an important part of the application. Do you have a photo of the nominee at a club function or volunteering? Submit up to three photos.
